Let’s get started.

The most important part of your wedding stationery is correct information, not only to get your guests where they need to be but also on time. Let’s work through this part together! You tell me what you know and I’ll answer any questions along the way — just shoot me an email or text if you need help. It’s okay to skip sections or guesstimate if you aren’t sure on certain details yet.

Save-the-dates
What type of save-the-date do you prefer?
Only count total addresses not total guests
Save-the-dates are typically more casual including first names or first and middle names only (i.e. "John and Jane" or "Jonathan Thomas and Jane Marie"), but this is custom to you and important you do what feels right. If you prefer full names, put full names — you can't do custom stationery wrong.
Please remember if you're linking to The Knot that your URL can be customized and shortened. This is highly recommended.

Be sure to put the address where you want both the save-the-dates and invitation suites returned should an address be incorrect or there be a problem with delivery — this may be your parents, your wedding coordinator, or yourselves. Don't forget how you want the address labeled, i.e. "The Future Mr. & Mrs. Doe" or "Jane Doe".
Invitations

What shape of envelope do you prefer?
Do you want an envelope liner?
A printed pieces of paper glued to the inside of the envelope for extra design flare
Who is hosting your wedding?
It's traditional to organize the appearance of names based on who is hosting or paying for the event. This determines whether you say "Together with their families..." or rather "Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Doe invite you to the marriage of their daughter..." This is not a requirement but rather something to talk through with your families.

Be sure to put the address where you want all reply cards sent — this may be your parents, your wedding coordinator, or yourselves. Don't forget how you want the address labeled, i.e. "The Future Mr. & Mrs. Doe" or "Jane Doe".
